The colours bloom and drift organically across the fabric — the unmistakable effect of true ice-dyeing — creating dreamy cloud-like formations that feel equal parts sunrise, sunset and wild Atlantic fire. Every fold of colour formed slowly as the ice melted over the towel in our Dingle studio, making this a completely one-off piece with its own luminous, energetic personality.
Made entirely from repurposed cotton towels recovered from the hotel sector, it’s plush, absorbent and wonderfully warm — ideal after sea swims, cold-water dips, surfs or long days at the beach. The oversized hood (with a bold orange edge), relaxed sleeves, side slits for easy movement and a spacious front pocket make it as comfortable as it is striking. No two ice-dyed ponchos are ever alike, and this one carries an especially bright, joyful heat.
