This adult-sized swim poncho is a striking ice-dyed original, bursting with cool sky-blue tones, soft lilac washes and vivid splashes of cherry red. The colours blend and fracture in organic, cloud-like patterns — the unmistakable signature of true ice-dyeing — creating a mesmerising mix of softness and intensity. Every fold of colour was formed slowly as the ice melted over the fabric in our Dingle studio, making this a genuine one-off with its own fluid, painterly character.
Made entirely from repurposed cotton towels recovered from the hotel sector, it’s wonderfully soft, thick and absorbent — perfect after sea swims, cold-water dips, surfs or long beach days. The oversized hood (finished with a vibrant orange trim), relaxed sleeves, side slits for easy movement and spacious front pocket add warmth, comfort and practicality. No two ice-dyed pieces will ever look the same, and this one carries a particularly bold and joyful energy.
