Handpainted Swim Poncho / Swimrobe

This adult-sized swim poncho is a joyful, hand-painted original inspired by the bright, playful world beneath the waves. Set against a turquoise base, each element has been painted individually in our Dingle studio: vivid green seaweed swaying upwards, a bold striped orange fish gliding across the front, a speckled yellow fish peeking from the side, and a coral-red reef motif adding a burst of texture. The result is a lively, cheerful underwater scene that brings pure fun to cold-water dips.

Crafted from repurposed cotton towels rescued from the hotel sector, this poncho is warm, thick and highly absorbent — perfect after sea swims, surfs, pier jumps and beach adventures. The hood is accented with a painted inner rim, the sleeves are wide and relaxed, and the large front pocket adds comfort and practicality. Every detail is finished by hand, ensuring that no two ponchos will ever be alike.

This one-off piece reflects our circular ethos: transforming waste textiles into colourful wearable art, made with care in Dingle.
